TTACT would like to inform you that the entries are open for the 2023 Spring Pennant. 

The pennant will start the week commencing 9 October 2023 and end the week ending 15 December 2023 (9 weeks plus finals week).

KEY DATES AND INFORMATION

Each player’s Ratings Central points as at September 15 2023 and team member preferences will guide the division and team allocation. 

. Please check your points before nominating your division preference in the online entry form. Points for each division are:

• Division 1: above 1350 approx. (2 person teams – maximum of 20 players)
• Division 2: approx 1350 and below (3 person teams – maximum of 30 players)
• Division 3: approx 1050 and below (3 person teams – maximum of 30 players) 
• Division 4/5: approx 800 and below (3 person teams – maximum of 33 players with one bye team)

Format of competitions:

•  Matches will be played at the Kingston Table Tennis Centre.
• All 3-player team matches begin at 6.30pm unless there is agreement between captains for a different start time. Individual matches must start within 5 minutes of the end of the previous match.
• All 2-player team matches begin at 8.00pm unless there is agreement between captains for a different start time. Individual matches must start within 5 minutes of the end of the previous match.
• White Plastic 40+ balls will be used (TTACT provides competition balls to each team captain at the beginning and during the competition as required, the home team supplies the balls for each round).
• Players must not wear shirts, shorts or skirts whose main colour is white. Team shirts the same colour are highly recommended.

Note: The Competition Committee has the FINAL DECISION for allocating players into divisions and/or teams, as outlined in the TTACT Competition Committee Guide.  If the competition is oversubscribed, the earlier nominations will be favoured (albeit with consideration to fair and balanced team membership).
