2022 ACT Closed Championships
24th-26th June 2022, Kingston Table Tennis Centre

Entries are now open for the ACT Closed Table Tennis Championships Friday 24th to Sunday 26th June at the Kingston Table Tennis Centre. Junior, Youth, Veteran, Open and Para Events on offer!

Conditions of Entry
1. REGISTRATION: All players must be 2022 Competition Members of TTACT
2. ITTF Rules apply to clothing, rackets, gluing, equipment and control of the tournament generally. Any query of the legality or acceptability of playing attire shall be decided by the Tournament Referee. Gluing is not permitted within the stadium. The main colour of clothing must not be white. Trakcsuits are not to be worn without the permission of the referee
3. EQUIPMENT: White Plastic ITTF Approved 40+ balls shall be used
4. EVENT FORMAT: All matches are the best of 5 games. All singles events will be played in round robin groups of 3 or 4 with winners advancing to the knockout. All doubles events will be played as a knockout. Events may start earlier than advertised if all players are available at the discretion of the Tournament Referee.
5. DIVISION EVENTS: Are Open to players who are not rated above the points stated for the particular division according to Ratings Central Points as at the published closing date for entries (Wednesday 22nd June 2022)
6. This tournament will be subject to filming and photography by participants, coaches and other approved persons. Participants (parents/guardians of players under age 18) give consent for the entrant to be filmed or photographed.
7. REFUND AND "NO SHOW" POLICY: No refunds shall be allowed to players withdrawing during events. No refunds may be provided when withdrawing after the close of entries. Entry fees must be paid prior to the date of the tournament, otherwise the player will not be included in the draw
8. LATE ENTRIES: Acceptance of late entries is at the discretion of the Tournament Referee
9. SCORESHEETS & UMPIRING:
- Upon collecting the scoresheet, players should take their opposition and an umpire to the table
- if unable to find an umpire please report to tournament control immediately
- all players must by umpiring when requested
- winning players must check, sign and return the scoresheet upon completion of matches
- a maximum 2 minute practice period is allowed prior to the commencement of a match
- any player not ready to play when called may be disqualifed by the Referee
10. The submission of the entry form is deemed as aceptance of these conditions of entry to the tournament.
